College Park Aviation Museum

Today we went to a fun museum in College Park. It's at the oldest running airport in the country. The kids had fun dressing like pilots and playing flying games. They had the first helicopter there and it looks like an airplane, but it has the propellers on top of the wings. It was a nice change of scenery from our room at the Holiday Inn.

Temple and Festival of Lights

We went to the Washington, D.C. temple tonight to see the festival of lights and to go to a little musical performance. Our friends the Hulings invited us to go with them. The temple and the lights were beautiful, and they had lots of nativities from around the world to look at. Plus it was nice to get out of the hotel room for a bit. We are hoping to hear back soon on some houses we are looking at renting. Fingers crossed that we find something soon!

Moving Day!

Today we moved to Maryland. It's going to be a pretty big adventure that's for sure! The kids were pretty good on the plane. Right before our flight though, Lyla had a huge blowout all up her back. I was dumb and didn't bring extra clothes, oops. So I ran to a gift shop as the plane was boarding and bought a shirt. It's a boys shirt so everyone thought she was a boy all day.
When we were waiting for our luggage an old woman came up to me and kissed Lyla on the cheek, then said "you were such a good little guy".
These pictures are of the boys on the plane.
Also I had to include one of what Alex does when you ask him about his ninja disguise.
