The Zoo!

Alex and I went to the Cleveland Zoo today with our friend Anna. Alex had a lot of fun, he really liked looking at all of the animals, and everytime we left an animal he would cry really hard!
People were riding camels, it looked like fun but we didn't try it.

Here is Alex comparing his hand to one of the monkey's hands.

Man, those elephants are cool!

Yum!

Alex's First Haircut

Alex got his first haircut today, and the consensus is divided. I know that some of you will be happy, but there are some of us who really liked those curls! They kept poking him in the eyes though, so they had to go. I left a little on the top so he still has some curls left.

4th of July in Washington D.C.

This year for the 4th of July, Alex and Steph picked up April and Ava Toone and they all went to Washington, D.C. They stayed with their friends Heather and Noah, who live in Virginia. They did a day of sightseeing on the 3rd and then watched an awesome fireworks show on the 4th. It was really fun but they were so ready to come home when it was all over!

Go Indians!

Since we are living in Cleveland this summer we thought that we should go to an Indians game. They lost of course (they are in last place right now), but it was still fun!

Birthdays!

We celebrated three birthdays in Cleveland this summer. It could be the reason that one of Alex's first words is happy.
